Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style

Sweet and Sour dishes dates back to as far as the Tang Dynasty, starting in the seventh century. Originally used as a dipping sauce, when brought to the west it instead became the dish itself and is used in the cooking of the dish.

With a distinctive red sheen indicative of the sweet and sour, Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style is a combination of crispy battered chicken with a tangy sweet sauce. The sticky chicken is cut into bite-sized pieces making them perfect to go with a serving of rice.
